Mechanico | How we use cookies to provide a better experience

1. What are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device that help Mechanico.io function correctly. We use them to remember your login session, save your car details while you browse, and understand how people use our platform.

2. Your Choices

When you first visit Mechanico, you will see a Cookie Consent Banner. You can choose to "Accept All" or "Manage Preferences." Note that "Essential" cookies cannot be turned off as the site will not function without them.

3. Disclosure: Who is Tracking You?

Because Mechanico is a "Mature Tooling" ecosystem, we use specific third-party providers. Here is the breakdown:

A. Essential Cookies (Strictly Necessary)

These are required for you to log in and pay safely. You cannot opt-out of these.

CSRF Token

A security cookie used to prevent "Cross-Site Request Forgery" (hacking attempts).

B. Functional & Performance Cookies

These help us improve the site and provide specialized features.

Vehicle Data Integrators

May set a cookie to ensure the technical diagrams and labor guides load correctly within your dashboard.

Google Analytics

Helps us see which regions have the most car repair demand so we can onboard more workshops there. (Data is anonymized).

AI Agent

Powers the "Chat with a Support Agent" bubble in the corner of your screen.

C. Marketing & Advertising Cookies

Used to show you relevant maintenance offers.

01

Facebook / Meta Pixel

02

Google Ads

4. How to Manage Cookies
